The Week From Hell
Well, Hudson is back home. They released him from the hospital yesterday morning. It's so good to have him home. I can honestly say that last week was one of the worst weeks of my life.
The doctors are about 99% sure it was the amoxicillin that caused the reaction. He's scheduled to go see an allergist next week after some more blood tests are complete. At least we know now not to give him any penicillin-based antibotics, but man, what a scary way to find out.
Anyway, we appreciate all the prayers and support last week. On Thursday I could sense God's presence while sitting with Hudson in the hospital room. I really believe that his recovery was sped up through everyone's prayers.

Hudson Update
I spent the day with Hudson in the hospital. He's still pretty swollen, but seems to be stablized. The doctors are running some tests to determine if the cause is something other than the antibotics, but more than likely it's a reaction to the antibotics alone. Amber will be with him tonight.
So continue to keep us in your prayers. Having a sick baby has to be one of the most stressful things imaginable. On top of everything, we close on our new house tomorrow morning. Thankfully, Amber's parents are here to help, my parents will be in tomorrow, and we've had lots of help offered from local friends/family.

Hudson
Please pray for our youngest, Hudson, who is 10 months old. He's had an allergic reaction to amoxicillin and has some pretty severe swelling. He's on steriods now...pray that the swelling goes down quickly. Thanks.
UPDATE. We admitted him into the hospital last night (St. Mary's Children's Center). His white blood cell count is high which suggests there is some infection going on in his body. Pray the doctors can isolate what is happening and begin treating it quickly. Also, please just pray that God would heal him outright.
